We're having summer camp at the San Pedro Youth Center. Kids will learn everything they need  to know about stand up paddleboarding.   I have a lot of fun activities planned - your kids will not be bored.  Our training area is protected from the wind, waves and cargo ships. All of our instructors are First Aid & CPR Certified. It can get very windy here.  For the novice paddler, wind can create challenging conditions.  Our new location in San Pedro is sheltered by the Double Tree hotel.  It can be blowing 20 knots from the west and our marina will be calm and glassy.  Here is a picture from a typical windy day in the marina.

This is a soft wave and it is a long ride.  Make sure you bring a big cruiser because it is a mush ball.
